My Minolta Maxxum 5000 shutter will not fire. Everything else works. When I load film into the camera the shutter fires a couple of times and the film is load. So I know the shutter is fine and operates. The auto focus works great but when the green light turns on and ready to take the picture, pressing the operating button fully down nothing happens. The self timer also does not work. I'm thinking it might be the main operating button that is defective. Has anyone had this problem with their Minolta 5000? can some one help me out before I throw this camera out the window. thanks guys/gals bye bye

Adam
