Hi all,
I am trying to fix a praktica b200 camera. I put a new battery and
the shutter works well at all speeds but in automatic mode the
lightmeter always "says" UNDER. In manual mode the right speed LED is
seen in the viewfinder but ALWAYS with the UNDER led ON. So the
problem seems to be in the lightmeter.
How can I remove the top cover?
In Tomosy's book, only mention that the shutter speed dial should be
left in place.
How can I fix the lightmeter?
Thank you for your help in advance,
Rafael

The reason is, very probably,
either there is no lens mounted,
or the aperture simulation of the lens is defective.

I had the same problem with a Praktica BX20 and
Prakticar lens. A wire inside the lens had been
broken. Repairing this wire solved the problem.
