welcome to the forum too. 100 cameras is quite something too.

Amazed to hear E-2 process being mentioned at all - my experience is limited to the E6 generation.

Regarding grainless 35mm negative prints, solarisation is fascinating technique. The RH Designs pre-flashing unit is superb for this application, enabling a degree of micro-control which a torch can't compete with. Metol developers (grain dissolving) at lower developing temperatures (around 19.5C) with minimum agitation techniques also suppress grain in a different manner. Ultimately, Kodak Positive Release Fine Grain film, rated around ISO 3 is one of the grainless 35mm experiences I've ever seen. It makes Kodak Technical Pan film appear like Minox negatives enlarged by large format factor scales.
