Hi Santiago,

It sounds to me like there is no power getting to the camera at all. With the batteries in, take a look through the viewfinder to see whether the needle responds to light or not. If the needle is not moving, then the problem most likely is that there is no connection between the batteries and the rest of the camera.

Also, the reason you can't wind on is because the shutter is cocked and the interlock is preventing you from winding until an exposure is being made. But you can't make an exposure because the electronic shutter needs power in order to release it. After you finally manage to release the shutter, you will be able to advance the film and then the rewind button will pop out.

To check for power:
1-make sure that the batteries are installed correctly, the right way around
2-make sure all contacts are clean. They can look clean but still not conduct. Use denatured alcohol & rub them with a pencil eraser to get them clean.

Try these, and report back. If this doesn't correct the problem, then the next step is to open the camera to check for corrosion and/or disconnects between the battery compartment and the circuitry inside the camera. The repair manual elsewhere on this website will come in handy for that.

Paul
