thanks, I removed the bottom plate, did some general cleaning, found what looked to be hardened lubricant in a number of places and quite a bit of grim. alos a set of contacts that appear to be attached to the end of the film spindle, ran a piece of thin white paper throught the contacts. Camera is firing everytime now....for how long...we'll see.
