The cameras that are the subject of this forum do not have anything resembling an LCD screen. If they did, it would probably be in a nickel plated brass frame with screw terminals.... Some LCD displays use a contact that looks much like a piece of sponge, and no other visible wiring. Easy to replace if the contact stays in position, easy to screw up if it doesn't. Others use a flat cable with a clamping connector that is frightfully easy to break. If I were you, I'd take it somewhere, hand someone a fist full of money, and say "fix it, please."
