In 2001, I purchased this video/still camera and it made good pictures in good light. After taking it to the beach one year and having humidity problems, the camera no longer captured true colors - they were faded somewhat. My question is: does this camera just need a good cleaning? Do memory cards need to be replaced after multi use?

We don't have a camera repair place locally and I would have to mail it out and I don't know if it is worth it. I've read some reviews on this camera and it seems mine actually made better pictures initially than most that posted a review. Thanks in advance for advice. Equifan
