I don't know the Baldix model but left hand threads are only used on cameras when there is a mechanical movement with a propensity to unscrew a normal thread. I have never seen any intermediate lens group which was left-hand threaded. There would be absolutely no point in such a design.
Your unscrew direction would have to be counter-clockwise.
