I'm trying to get up a more accurate list of ones that may have bad capacitors. There's already a list of sorts, but it's not very comprehensive. It usually just says to stay away from ones with serial numbers at 27xxxxx and over, and some say 25xxxxx and over. If my X700 is in any danger, I'd rather buy the kit now and be ready for the inevitable.
