Hi! To my knowledge there are four Silette-L cameras with the lm behind a door or flap. Circa 1956-8. From 1957 there was a large dial on the top plate. From 1958, no small aperture in the door/flap,& this is wider. Synch post can be to left or right of the lens I would doubt yours is a prototype. If I am correct in thinking this, then I would say you paid over the odds for it. Latest book price I know of is around $35. In the real world,you can find them at boot sales/flea markets for around £5 Regards |
