It had to be Nikon, because I've had one of their film SLR's and lenses etc for years. I can't afford or justify a DSLR. So go to the bottom of the range to the an E4600. It has flash, macro mode, and takes AA batteries. All the things I need to take photos of the internals of shutters and cameras. Like this.
