Art, Thanks for the offer but I've managed to fix it. The side cover fabric was stuck down with some really strong adhesive and I foud that lighter fuel was useless, so I used a hairdryer to gently warm it up and a sharp craft knife to remove the fabric. When I finally got the side cover off I found a gear and a pivot screw loose inside so it only took a couple of minutes to position the gear and tighten the screw. I replaced the fabric using a PVC type glue so it should be easier to remove next time. The camera came with the 180mm lens and the filter threads are in a bad way as the wall thickness is so thin, so next job is to try and hammer out the dents! Thanks again - Alf |
