Re-oil with a tiny drop of very light oil. 'Rem' oil seems to get the nod from the leading lights of the Forum. The retard mechanism that holds back the 2nd curtain when set to slow shutter speeds may also require cleaning. Do the absolute minimum, just clean and don't be tempted to make any adjustments. In the K-series the front panel comes off separately from the mirror box, but the screws holding the panel sit in brass spacer collars. These collars are set in the factory to provide the exact mount to film plane distance. When removing the panel screws be very careful not to disturb these collars.
