I just disassembled a noisy Yashica FX Winder. I used a tiny drop of light oil at each shaft bushing and friction points at shaft ends. This quieted the unit noticeably. The gears were clean and dry so I left them that way. This unit is in the original box and looks little, if at all used. What's your experience with similar winders? Should I apply a bit of grease to the teeth? |
