I think the problem was something to do with the rewind knob, i have turned it a bit (like we used to do with old phones dialing the numbers :-) and now i can reach 1000 shutter speed freely even if 500 and 1000 are a bit stuck when changing speed. I hope everyting is ok now. lets get to the dial removal.
