Hi

I'm looking longingly at a Fujita Haco 66 (same as Fujita 66 and Kalimar Reflex as far as I can tell). These are early Japanese 6x6 reflex SLRs from the 50's. Trouble is the one I'm looking at has the cloth focal plane shutter blinds separated from disentegrated tapes. I've been told its an expensive and difficult-labour intensive repair that involves dismantling the camera entirely and not worth it. Does anyone have any clues on this potential project? Should I leave it well alone? Or buy the camera and plunge in. I believe Rick Oleson may have a view on this. Thanks
