Standerd 135 cassettes are significantly higher than Karat cassettes. Having them side by side the Karat cassette ends where the lid of a 135 cassette starts. A lousy photo of them:

Besides that the Karat cartridges have some kind of guiding system inside to prevent the film from getting caught.
Alternatively Agfa Rapid cassettes can be used. The look slightly different - they have some kind of "nose" used for film speed selection on certain cameras (not all Rapid cameras had it).
East German SL cassettes are not compatible even if the system is quite the same.
