You would have to remove the front panel leatherette and then the front panel in order to access the shutter mechanism. Remove the leatherette "dry" - slowly and carefully.
If you apply any liquid solvent (turps, petrol,alcohol or whatever) the leatherette will shrink.

Difficult to know what some ham-fisted user may have done to cause the jam - but when the mechanism is exposed you will soon see. Good luck.
