If O-rings work, or if the belts are only stretched but not cracked, one possibility might be to cut one and rejoin it with super glue. There are even kits (probably too expensive for this purpose) for making your own custom O-rings this way. Some automotive oil filters use big o-rings. I once got a Wollensak tape recorder working using the oil filter O-rings from an old Mercedes diesel. |
