I've tried three times to get a user Electro 35 from ebay, and thrice I've had dud's despite them all being listed as in good working order! This time, I've got some refund, and have decided that i'm 'going in'. I wonder if anyone can help? These are the symptoms Metered speeds below 1/30th revert to 'bulb' even when on auto PC connection doesn't work. The 'under' light does appear to tally with meters in other cameras in my collection for about 1/30th, so I think the meter is OK. There is NO POD clunk at all. Not even the slightest tiny click Battery check light fine. I'm reasonably engineer minded, and Yashica Guy's description of the POD repair looks well within my capabilities. I'm guessing that may be the culprit, as I believe there should be some clunk, albbeit quiet, when the camera is functioning correctly. Is it terminal, or is there hope? Thanks CDSnapper |
