No resistance on the self-timer in either direction. All else is MINTY. Recently sold camera and buyer appears to have manhandled in an inappropriate manner... then said something "must have jiggled loose in transit". Will consider all offers as long as you will pay the shipping. I'd throw the camera in the trash but I'm too thrifty to do something like that!
