First, remove the battery and see if it still happens. If so, it is not an electronic problem. The most likely source it that the magnet visible in center of bottom (with bottom cover removed) is not holding. You can take something like alcohol and a toothpick and clean the magnet keeper and face and them operate the wind lever a few times. If that is the problem, when the alcohol has dried, it should work fine.
