I think there's a set-screw in the knurl of the low speed knob. Loosen, then unscrew. Now you can remove the screw that holds on the knob and skirt. Now you can remove the three screws that hold the base on, and proceed to remove the other three screws, the ones on the side of the top, and the lens mount, and slide off the shell.
