To me, worth the money, especially if you have some gems to work with while the IIIf is in the shop. Otherwise, there are a number of folks on this forum who are willing to tackle a curtain replacement. I've done it, wasn't easy for me, but I'm in it for the satisfaction of keeping these gems alive as much as exposing film.
