I found a Rolleiflex 2.8e with a zeiss lens in a pawn shop today. I am wondering do these cameras need film in them for the shutter to work. I wind the film advance, and press the shutter release and it clicks but the shutter does not fire. Does it have to have film in it to work, or does it need a costly tune up. I still feel they want top dollar for it at $800, with a few accessories. But you just dont see to many rollieflexes around, but if it needs a costly repair I will just pass on this one. |
