The camera is similar to the Petri Racer but built for Agfa Rapid cartridges. It uses 625 size batteries (built for mercury cells). The battery compartment cover is of the usual screw-in type. It's possible that covers from other cameras using the same type batteries might fit - but I don't know. I'm located in Austria (Europe) and have PayPal to cover costs. Thanks in advance Martin
