After a recent plane trip in which my EF 2.8L 70-200 lens was in checked luggage (Don't do it!), the zoom will not work. I am wondering if I should buy an repair manual and attempt this or send it off to a repair shop. Does anyone have any experience with repairing this lens? How hard will it be to fix this problem?
