Send it to a repair shop. Since this is a fairly new lens they will still have parts.

But for what it is worth...

Generally, in my experience, a locked up zoom is due to the helix threads being shoved over the next thread. Kind of like cross threading. That is, on the zooms that use threads. On those that use rollers and slots usually the roller has vibrated loose. Regardless, the lens will need to be disassembled.
