i bought this camera in the late 70's. it has preformed flawlessly up until this week. i went to load the film and the camera locked up on the first stroke of the advance lever. i replaced the battery and nothing changed. the light meter is working with the shutter button at half stroke, the battery check button function is working also. the film rewind button was stuck down. i removed the botttom plate and moved the two links underneathe the rewind button to relase it to it's normal position. but it had no effect. while i had the bottom plate off i was able to move a link to reset the shutter curtian to the open position and this also brought the mirror back down. but the camera will not operate. is this fixable or should i look for a replacement body. |
