I recently acquired a well-worn old Rollei 35 (no letter suffix, Singapore version with Schneider lens, if it matters) which misses low shutter speeds intermittently. Below 1/60, shutter speeds will vary anywhere between the designated speed and 1/60. So I have two questions, basically: first, is this likely to be a "CLA" kind of problem, or is this a worn part. The camera didn't cost that much, and it isn't in prime collectable shape, so real repair is an unlikely option. Second, if it is amenable to cleaning, etc., does anyone have any service hints or instructions? |
