Author Message   Peter Lewis Rating: N/A Votes: 0 Posted on Wednesday, June 15, 2005 - 08:16 pm:    Hollis, I do a lot of lens repair on Soligor and Miranda lenses (usually purchased on e-bay from someone who claims they are in "excellent" condition!). I would not try to repair a zoom lens- they are just too complicated! If it's worth it to you, send it to a repair shop. When I get a bad zoom, all I do is tear it down for spare screws and springs. Sorry I can't be more encouraging!
