Hi. I have a Minolta XG-7 that I've owned since new and now, in aperture priority (automatic aperture select mode) the shutter "hangs". I have to turn off the camera to release it. In manual mode, the shutter works fine. Batteries are good. I've scanned and searched this forum for my particular problem, but haven't found it. I've learned a lot though! Sounds like it could be the shutter capacitor, or maybe it needs an aperture ring resistor, or just some cleaning on the contacts. Anyone have experience with this camera or a similar one? Thanks so much. |
