Mike,

You can find a number of references to 'film transport mechanism' in various books/manuals.It can mean anything from a lever wind to a full motor drive.Your request could be due to a badly translated instruction book and the word transporter,a complete 'red herring'.

However I do wonder how you and others, who post these non-specific requests expect to get sensible answers.Having a scientific background I am used to dealing with facts,so am more than happy to spend time searching for answers to someone's problem,if I am presented with all the relevant details.What does annoy is having to spend time asking what the symptoms are or what the equipment is,before solving the problem.
