Author Message   john Rating: N/A Votes: 0 Posted on Tuesday, October 25, 2005 - 01:42 am:    Sounds like it could be either a Pad of Death problem, or the B, Auto, Flash selector - if the shutter fires at 1/500 without a battery and closes, it's not stuck open - you should always check that pad first if the shutter is playing up
