Re the comments on photo.net;Follow Paul's advice and get all the exploded views you can from Mamiya.His words about the junker/parts item are also sound.you will eventually find that the practise camera has provided you with spares you needed and selling other bits to people in need has returned your initial outlay.

I have no real repair experience of this camera,well not to the extent of being able to give you specific instructions on how to turn your little pile of parts into the whole again.However you will get sound advice on this Forum and not the sarcastic comments that some gave you on the p.n.As you said; we all have to start somewhere and many of us started with a disaster - I did and was fortunate to meet someone who was prepared to pass on his experience.A professional repairer of the old school,you did it right or not at all.

That is the type of help you will find here on this Forum.
