I have a Minolta X-700 slr that has a mirror slightly tilted in the mirror box. It seems to operate OK, shutter and all, but that mirror is just a little crooked.

The question is, this will throw off what you actually see though the viewfinder, right? Will it affect metering in any way, or will what you see in the viewfinder simply not be framed correctly?

It probably would cost more to repair than just buying another body.
