I am overwhelmed by the response to my problem. Thanks to you I now have the diaphragm in my sticky hands, all six pieces, and what a beautiful piece of engineering they are. Peter. Your memory is excellent and the crude tool I made removed the locking ring around the rear lens asm and separated the diaphragm asm from the rest. It was then just a matter of removing locking screws, brass shim circlips (for want of a better word) and distance pieces. Restoration can now begin and I thank you all again for your help. Jack |
