When my Canon S400 was on with the lens extending, my 16-month-old daughter pressed the lens down forcefully. Now the lens get stuck in a slightly extending prosition and len cover unable to close up. When I turn on teh camera, it beeps and gives a error message 'E18' on the screen.

I have two questions: 1. is it easy to just fix it myself ? 2. if not, would you recommand a place that could fix it. I could send it to Canon Factory Service Center, but it's in Illinois. I would prefer to get it fixed in a local place. My zip code is 11358.

Thanks very much in advance.
