Back when I was a youngster at university, I was a keen photographer, and the Photographic Society had a fine darkroom....But then came work, marriage, no darkroom, and years of colour snapshots. Then one day, back in 1998, I was seized by an unexplainable lust when I saw an old Yashica rangefinder in a junkshop. Now I have a shelf of fine older cameras, most working, stocks of monochrome film in the refrigerator, a darkroom.....
