It is not very difficult to remove the top of an Agfa Ambi Silette. There will be no springs being battled along. It is strait forward. The most critical part is the re-assembly of the frame counter. Make notes or take some pictures of every step of the disassembly. It is also a good opportunity to clean the rangefinder and the view finder.

I have stored a very good japanese html repair article on my disk. It contains lots of selfexplaining pictures. Unfortunately I do not remember the URL from which I got it. If you do a google search on "Agfa Ambi Silette" and carefully check the links in Japanese you should find it.
