I'm afraid those two have very little in common - the MG being the last introduction of the family before the Super A. Different lens mount, different shutter version (the release on the MG is mechanical, it's all electronic on the Super A)... different everything, pretty much. The back from one will fit the other, as should the rewind knob (maybe the baseplate, probably the leverwind and battery chamber cap), but that's about it I think. I daresay there must be the occasional small component within that's unchanged, but very few, I suspect, even though the Super A has an evolution of the M-series chassis. In the M-series itself, even the eyepieces are different (on the inside!) for each model, since they mounted the meter cell(s) on them, and each meter was a bit different. |
