Hi Streetlife. A word of caution. I recently replaced the seals on my 35-ME and used Isopropyl(rubbing) alcohol to remove the sticky residue as I have done on many cameras in the past. However some got on the front viewfinder lens (there are a pair of them) and turned them opaque. If you get this far in your tinkering be very careful, the plastic is very easliy damaged.
As to opening the lens, I'm not sure how you get into these. The lens/shutter appears to be identical to the Konica C35, so it may pay to search the C35 threads as they are far more common.
