I'm in the midst of repairing a K1000 for a friend, and what I was hoping was just stray light seal foam (HA!) is in fact desilvering on the prism... I was wondering what kind of experiences people have had with swapping in prisms from other Pentax's like the ME/ ME Super or the older Spotmatics, to which the K1000's are so closely related. I have a parts-only ME super I could dig into for a spare, but wanted to hear what others had to say before digging it out only to find out it did not fit the specs... |
