My Canon AV-1 has suddenly stopped working for the first time ever and I suspect the shutter is stuck shut because it has been on a shelf unused for maybe a year and I tried to use it today. The battery is OK (I have tried several including new) and I've tried different lenses. (1) I wound it on to take a shot. (2) Nothing happens on pressing the button. (3) I cannot wind it on again because it hasn't fired. All help gratefully received! (Cheltenham, UK)
