If you can somehow drill a neat enough hole in the end you might be able to get a little screw into it. If it was swaged in, you could try to re-do that, but it's likely that the hole is a bit sloppy, and you'll have difficulty getting anything tight enough to keep from wobbling and working loose again. Good luck, anyway, with all the projects.
