Two or three grub screws equally spaced around circumference equals push fit components with perhaps a locating groove for the screw points. Does not always follow of course and cheaper equipment can have just one grub screw holding push fit knobs onto shafts, but remembering this 'rule' can prevent a frustrating evening and/or damaged/marked components.
