I thought it might be for a pre-war Ikoflex as the focus helper has the inscription 853/16 on its other side. I used it with success on a Super Ikonta IV and a Balda Super Baldax but don't think that it was intended for these, it just fits because there is nothing in the way disturbing it lying flat against the film guides.
