Jeff, Ive taken a couple of these apart, and it's not really all that hard to do. I wouldn't mess with the seperation on the rear group, but the rest is pretty much straightforward. Making sure you mark or make note of where the front element seperates from the body will make it easier to get the focus back when reassembling the lens. Just make sure you take your time, and take notes and pictures as you go, to refer to when putting it all back together. If I can do it, you can too. And there is plenty of help here if you get stuck or lost. PF |
