So my Yashica MF 124GMat has been brilliant the past six months... till I got to the humidity in NYC this past weekend.

Now the light meter is just bugging out. It doesn't register anything - and then will suddenly pop up to get an exposure reading, but when I adjust the Apeture it conks out again.

I'm basically guessing now - which sucks - and I really don't want to carry a light meter with me as well as the one on the camera really works great (when it was working).

Anyone know a manual solution to the problem? I'm going to get a new battery to see if maybe its a charge issue - but how does one go about cleaning the residue on the contacts there if that's an issue?

Any help would be appreciated!
