Hi All

I have a Minolta Hi-matic 7sii with an inaccurate rangefinder. On disassembly I've found two screws available to adjust, but both appear to only adjust vertical alignment. The first screw is in the triangular space immediately in front of the eye piece. The second screw is to the right of this at the top of a cylinder with a mirror on it. Occasionally when I move this screw clockwise, the rangefinder spot moves to the right, but springs back immediately (adjusting this screw still only moves the spot vertically).

Curiously, I can't detect any movement in the rangefinder when adjusting the focusing ring, although the spot definitely moves. If there is any movement at all, it is the cylinder rotating ever so slightly, but I may be imagining this.

Of course I've searched the web for answers, but all I have found is the the 7s or 9s, not the 7sii, which I think is quite different. Certainly the front window on the viewfinder doesn't move as is suggested of the 7s.

Can anybody help?

Thanks
